Terms & Conditions

These terms constitute a legally binding electronic contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 between you and Classkar Edtech Private Limited.

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 Last Updated: February 2026

1 Acceptance of Terms & Corporate Entity

This User Agreement ("Agreement" or "Terms") governs your access to and use of the services, applications, website (classkar.com), and physical 1-to-1 in-home educational tutoring provided by Classkar Edtech Private Limited ("ClassKar", "Company", "We", "Our", or "Us"), a private limited company incorporated under the laws of India, with its registered office situated in Hazaribag, Jharkhand, India.

By registering on the platform, booking an in-home assessment, purchasing a learning subscription, downloading the ClassKar mobile apps, or onboarding as an educator, you ("User", "Parent", "Guardian", or "Educator") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must refrain from using the platform and services.

2 Scope of Educational Services

ClassKar provides specialized 1-to-1 physical in-home personalized primary learning for students up to Class 5 across designated zones in Delhi NCR (New Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad). Our service ecosystem includes:

  • In-Home Diagnostic Assessment: Comprehensive baseline learning evaluation conducted by an Assessment Counselor at the student's residence.
  • Proprietary Curriculum Technology: Customized learning roadmaps spanning English Fluency & Phonics, Hindi Language Development, Mental Maths, Experiential Science, and Behavioral Grooming.
  • Verified Educator Deployment: 1-to-1 deployment of background-verified, CEAT-certified primary educators directly to the student's home.
  • Assessment Team Supervision: Independent central team monitoring daily student logs, weekly tests, and educator pedagogical compliance.
  • ClassKar Parent App: Real-time transparent tracking of lesson topics, test scores, homework, and educator attendance.

3 In-Home Sessions & Parental Presence Protocol

To ensure child safety, student comfort, and an optimal learning environment during in-home physical sessions:

Mandatory Adult Presence: A parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult family member MUST be present inside the residence for the entire duration of each in-home educational session.
Designated Study Space: Parents agree to provide a well-lit, quiet, and safe study area free from television, digital distractions, or hazardous conditions.
Mutual Dignity & Respect: Both educators and family members are expected to maintain professional decorum, mutual respect, and courteous behavior at all times.

4 Mastery-Lock Policy & Academic Methodology

ClassKar operates strictly on our proprietary Mastery-Lock Policy: "We do not move forward if your child is not moving forward, because it is our responsibility to build foundational mastery."

Under this policy, educators will hold concepts and reinforce fundamental principles until the student achieves verified comprehension, rather than rushing through syllabi arbitrarily. Learning timelines may adjust dynamically based on the student's individual cognitive diagnostic results.

5 Non-Solicitation & Direct Payment Prohibition

ClassKar invests substantial institutional resources into educator vetting, criminal background verification, curriculum R&D, and quality audits.

Strict Policy on Private Arrangements:

Parents and Educators are strictly prohibited from entering into private, off-platform tutoring contracts or making direct cash/UPI payments to educators outside the official ClassKar platform.

Any solicitation or circumvention of ClassKar will result in immediate termination of services, permanent blacklisting, and forfeiture of all platform guarantees and refunds.

6 Fees, Billing, GST & Payment Terms

  • Fee Transparency: All educational plans, diagnostic assessment fees, and monthly tutoring subscriptions are clearly communicated upfront in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Taxes: Applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST @ 18%) or other statutory levies under Indian law will be charged on all taxable services.
  • Payment Modes: Payments must be executed through RBI-authorized payment gateways (UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards) accessible via the official ClassKar app or portal.
  • Advance Billing: In-home monthly session packages are billed in advance to secure educator schedule allocation.

7 Educator Replacement Guarantee & Refund Policy

48-Hour Educator Replacement Guarantee: If a parent feels the pedagogical match or educator compatibility is not optimal, ClassKar guarantees a replacement certified educator within 48 business hours at zero extra charge.

Cancellations & Refunds:

  • Requests for subscription cancellations must be submitted via the ClassKar Parent App or by writing to [email protected].
  • Unutilized session credits are refundable on a pro-rata basis after adjusting for delivered sessions and initial administrative/diagnostic costs.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment source within 7–10 business banking days in accordance with RBI and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
